Jordon Horton and Brad Hall $2k richer

Another night is in the books for the 2011 schedule at 411 Motor Speedway, and the season is quickly winding down! Friday Night was our Inaugural Fall Rumble at the track and it was a huge success! A ton of great racing as well as a ton of fans! Greg Estes set fast time Mod Street but had the lead in the feature when his car stalled. He came from the back and was working on the race lead when he stalled once again, ending his night. Warren McMahan seemed to be well on his way to victory until broken right-front suspension ended his night late, handing the $2,000 victory to Jordon Horton! In Late Models, Brad Hall set fast time–literally, FAST time, by laying down a never-before-seen lap of 13.859! He would easily cruise to the victory in the feature unchallenged all night for the $2,000 check!

Next up on the schedule is the 2011 Crowning of Champions night! We’ll run single features (previously scheduled double features), and honor the top 5 points champions in every division! So clear your schedule! We’ll start EARLIER on Saturday, ALL gates open at 3p, drivers meeting at 5:00p, and hotlaps at 5:15p!

Watson shines in Hardee’s Street Stock Shootout

Another great Saturday night of racing action is in the books at 411 Motor Speedway, and the cool temps and an open tire rule equaled a blazing fast qualifying session! In Limited Late Model qualifying, Brad Hall would set a mark nobody could beat by laying down a very respectable lap time of 13.915, besting the track record of 13.926 set by David Crabtree on July 14th, 2011. Due to the tire rule being changed, we’ll keep up with 2 track records, one with an open tire and one with regular rules! In the other features, Josh Henry would cruise to the checkers in Crate Late Model, but was discovered to have a non-factory sealed engine, resulting in his disqualification from the Crate feature. It would not affect his Limited Late Model status. In Topless Modified, Mike Lewis decided to drive his brother’s car..to victory lane! Dale Watson would claim the win in the Hardee’s Street Stock Shootout. Robbie Comer claimed another win in Super Truck+Mod Street, while Tim Ladd held off a valiant effort from Chuck McMahan and performed his patented celebratory donuts on the frontstretch to the fan’s enjoyment! Shawn Henry claimed the win in Mini-Stock, while Jason Cardwell made quick work of Brad Hall, only to suffer mechanical failure on lap 5. Hall would maintain the lead through several cautions to claim the win.

Next up on the schedule is our Friday Night Special! $2,000 to win in Modified Street, $2,000 to win in Late Model! Pits open at 3:00p, grandstands at 5:00p, with the drivers meeting getting underway at 5:45p and hotlaps promptly at 6;00p! Adult grandstand tickets will be $15, tier will be $20, with pit passes being $30. Kids in the grandstand will be the usual $5. See you under the lights on Friday night!

Eubanks, Cardwell steal the show with wild rides

Another Saturday night is in the books, and fans, was it a wild one or not?! Jay Eubanks scared the crowd when his machine flipped in the Classic feature and immediately burst into flames. He would be pulled out of his car and was ok. And in the Limited Late Model feature, Jason Cardwell would lead from the green flag until he could see the checkers, but never crossed the line as he drilled the turn 4 wall, rode up the fence and landed on his roof only 40′ from the line. Collins claimed the win. Here are the winners: Brad Hall (CLM), Adam Engel (C), Mike Lewis (TM), Bradly Lewelling (SS), Robbie Comer (ST/MS), Rocky McNabb (MM), Dalton King (MS), Josh Collins (LLM), Cody Courtney (M-LM)

Josh Collins jets to LLM win; Brad Lowe wins–in TM

Another great Saturday night of racing is in the books at 411 Motor Speedway, and with only 5 points races remaining, the action is heating up! The fans turned out this past Saturday, and Knox County residents got a $5 discount to the grandstands! But before we announce our next $5 discount, let’s reflect on Saturday! First off, Ryan King stole the show in Crate Late Model, while Drew Kennedy picked up the win in Classic. In the Hardee’s Topless Modified Shootout, we say Derik Duggan drive the former David Day machine to victory lane, only to be protested and declared illegal, handing the win over to Brad Lowe! In Street Stock action, we saw Dale Watson cruise to the checkers, picking up the win AND clinching to 2011 championship in that division. In Mod Street/Super Truck, we saw Cory Cate again drive to victory lane, while Tim Ladd threw everything, including the kitchen sink, to charge from 3rd to the win on the last lap, but Chuck McMahan was no match this week. Dalton King bashed his way to the win in Mini-Stock, while Rusty Ballenger looked to be cruising to victory lane until Josh Collins hit the nitro button and jetted to the win.

Coming up this Saturday is the Ujunkdit.com race night! They are THE automotive core recyclers and they’ll beat the competition! So if you have any core products you wish to sell, check out Ujunkdit.com for all the details on what they purchase! In Limited Lates, Rusty Ballenger cruised to victory — until 2 laps to go when Jason Cardwell negotiated lapped traffic better and stole the win.
