The Hangover 2023 – Cancelled due to snowy conditions, etc.

Due to the frozen conditions that will do nothing but soften up the track even more as it thaws and a forecast of 70-80% chance of rain for Saturday we feel it’s in the best interest of everyone involved to go ahead and cancel this years Hangover before we get into a situation like two years ago when the track came completely apart causing several rollovers and torn up race cars simply to get a race in. After surveying the grounds this morning and it still frozen and snow covered we feel it’s in the best interest for everyone involved to go ahead and cancel now before everyone starts heading this way. With fuel prices being what they are and this being a race that several travel long distances it’s just not fair to ask anyone to travel with that big of a chance of rain and have poor track conditions. So we’re going to go ahead and cancel this event now in hopes of getting the word out early to the benefit of everyone. It’s possible the forecast might change and if it does it does but again not worth the chance. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause but Mother Nature will be the only one taking a Victory Lap this weekend.
