Madden Scores WoO Victory

The World Of Outlaws were in town for a huge $10,000 to win feature event in front of a standing room only crowd.

The first event of the night would be the 20 lap Classic Car feature. Shaun Sise has dominated the division lately so it was no surprise when he would once again start on the front row for the feature. The green waved and Sise put his #16 out front ahead of Mark Sise, Lee Merritt and Mac Lockhart your top runners on the start. Christian Runyon and Lockhart had a great battle in the opening laps. Chris Worsham would see his night come to an early end as he pulled off track with issues. The caution would wave for the #38 of Bryan Williams who went for a spin in turn four. Back under green and Merritt was on the move as he powered into second. It looked like he might be a threat but he would slow with heavy smoke on lap 11. Sise would go unchallenged the rest of the way and pick up another win.

Next up was the 604 Crate Late Models. Jesse Lowe and Brad Lowe would lead us to green for the 25 lap feature. A very stacked field of drivers were on hand for the big $1,200 payday. Jesse Lowe would get the hole shot on the start and get the lead ahead of Brad Lowe, JT Kerr Memorial winner Greg Martin, Trevor Sise and Josh Henry. The action started immediately as Brad Lowe powered around Jesse Lowe and into the top spot on lap two. Trevor Sise also had a great car on the night as he had the pressure turned up on Henry for the fourth spot early on. Jed Emert would loop his #98 machine in turn four slowing the pace. Back under green and it was a power move from Greg Martin as he passed both Jesse and Brad Lowe down the back to put his #24 into the lead. Martin would put some distance on the pack as he looked to have things under control. However he would slow with just three laps left and hand the lead back over to Brad Lowe. Lowe would hold on to pick up his first win of the year.

Cade Dillard would lead us to green on the start with Chris Madden, Ross Bailes, Brandon Sheppard and Donald McIntosh your top five. Madden was in no mood to waste time as just five laps in he moved his way around Dillard to take over the lead. Cory Hedgecock one of the local favorites was also on the move as he moved into the top five from his seventh place starting spot. Dillard who started on the pole began to slip back as the laps ticked away. Madden found himself in lap traffic until the caution waved on lap 28 for Dale McDowell who slowed in turn one. Ricky Weiss didn’t have the best starting spot but he was a main on a mission as he moved all the way up into the third spot. He wasn’t done there as he began to put the head on World Of Outlaw points leader Brandon Sheppard. After several laps Weiss would finally take the runner up spot away in turn four coming to the finish. It was all behind Chris Madden who went on to score another win at 411.

After a couple quick cautions for the #J23 of Todd Beeler and the #J2 of Larry James it was back to racing. Kinzer would take the top spot ahead of James, Ervin Vance, Jeff Hamby and Michael Asbury. Vance would make his move getting past James into the runner up spot. Larry James would have some issues on his #J2 as he had to retire for the evening after bringing out two cautions. Trevor Sise was doing double duty on the night as he was also running the the 602 Late Model class as well as the 604 class. He’d start on the pole for the 20 lap 602 feature alongside the #07 of Hayden Cardwell. Trouble for the 85 of Lee Branch as he pulled off in the opening laps. Josh Driskill would go for a spin in turn two collecting the #9 of Josh Cheatham. Cardwell would throw a big slide job on the leader but Sise would use his veteran experience to crossover and take the lead back. Sise would pull away in the final handful of laps to pick up the win.

He’d lead us to green ahead of Brian Hamby, Joe Freels, Dalton King and Rick Alan who was making his debut at 411 in 2020. Trouble for the #51 of King who slowed from the third spot and had to pull off track. Henry was running away with the lead out front but once again smoke would start trailing from his machine. Hamby saw his opening and started chewing up the gap Henry had built up. The smoke would get worse as we had a battle for the lead. Despite the smoke intensifying Henry would hold on in an almost photo finish to get the win.
