411 Motor Speedway owner McCarter back home from PRI Trade Show; 2019 schedule at ‘Tennessee’s Action Track’ headlined by both Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and WoO Late Model Series
SEYMOUR, Tenn. (Dec. 10, 2018) — 411 Motor Speedway owner Mitch McCarter attended the 31st Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show held Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 6-8 in Indianapolis at the Indiana Convention Center, and Tennessee’s Action Track is getting geared-up for short-track racing in 2019.
McCarter had meetings with movers-and-shakers in the motorsports world while in the Hoosier state, finalizing details for 411 Motor Speedway next season. Besides confirming dates for prestigious national touring series events, McCarter also worked out deals to become an authorized dealer to exclusively sell a full line of products for Tommy Chapman at VP Racing Fuels & Lubricants, along with Keyser Manufacturing.
411 Motor Speedway’s 2019 schedule promises to be the most action-packed in its storied history dating back to the opening in 1960, with 37 events planned from February through December – highlighted by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series visiting East Tennessee.
There are six Super Late Model touring series shows are on the schedule. … The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will visit on Friday, April 5 paying $12,000-to-win, with the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series / Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series $10,052-to-win seventh annual Scott Sexton Memorial set for Monday, May 27 on Memorial Day.
Two additional $10,000-to-win races will entertain fans, with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series $10,000-to-win set for Friday, July 26, and the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series rolls in on Saturday, October 5. … The Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series has three events on the schedule with the Summer Sizzler set for Saturday, Aug. 24, and the fourth annual Leftover on Thanksgiving weekend (Saturday, Nov. 30) paying $5,000-to-win, with the season-ending 10th annual Hangover set for Saturday, Dec. 30.
Four special events for Crate Late Models are scheduled: June 8 (JT Kerr Memorial $4,000-to-win), July 6 ($3,000-to-win), Aug. 31 (Labor Day Classic $3,000-to-win), and Nov. 9 the Tennessee Crate Nationals ($3,000-to-win). … The Dylan Kennedy Memorial paying $3,700-to-win for Late Models is scheduled Aug. 10.
The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series has a $1,000-to-win event scheduled Aug. 24, and $1,200-to-win race scheduled Nov. 30 as part of the Leftover.
Weekly Championship Points Racing programs will feature Crate Late Model, Sportsman Late Model, Modified Street, Open Wheel Modified, Classic and 602 Street Stock divisions in action.
