Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series returns August 5

The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series returns to 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 5 for a $3,000 to win event. The Chevrolet Thunder Nationals is part of a doubleheader with Volunteer Speedway that could see one driver walk away with $10,000 for the weekend.

If a driver can win Friday’s CPSLMS at Volunteer Speedway ($3,000 to win) and Saturday’s race at 411 Motor Speedway, that driver will get a $4,000 bonus making the weekend’s winnings worth $10,000.

Local favorites such as Cory Hedgecock, Ryan King, and Riley Hickman will take on drivers such as Ronnie Johnson,  Tim Busha, Rodney Martin, Lavon Sparks, Chad Bailey, and many others.

Also racing on August 5 will the sportsman late models for $800 to win, open wheels for $800 to win, modified streets for $700 to win, and classic cars for $400 to win.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, kids 12 and under are free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $35, kids 12 and under are $15 with a signed release.

Pit gates will open at 3:00 and grandstand gates will open at 4:00. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 6:45 which will be followed by hot laps, time trials, and racing action.
