411 Motor Speedway welcomes the Schaeffer Oil Souther Nationals on Tuesday, July 21 for a $3,500 to win event. The Ray Cook-promoted Southern Nationals is a 10-race, 13-day series stretching across the Southeast. The 411 Motor Speedway event will be stop #2 of the tour.
This year’s edition of the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals promises to be an exciting series with as many as 12 drivers committed to running the series. 2015 Spring Nationals champion Donald McIntosh, Casey Roberts, Clint Smith, Billy Ogle Jr., Vic Hill, Stacy Boles, Mack McCarter, Austin Smith, Mark Dotson, Craig Vosbergen of Australia, and T.J. Reaid are the committed drivers for this year’s Southern Nationals. Other regional drivers are also expected.
Also racing on July 21 will be Sportsman for $700 to win, Street Stocks for $500 to win (using Fall Brawl rules), and Mini Stocks for $400 to win.
Pit and grandstand gates open at 4:00. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:45 with hot laps starting at 7:00.
Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for adults, kids 12 and under are $15 with a signed release.
