Cardwell blasts to LLM win; Cate a ‘proven’ winner

Another great Saturday night is in the books at 411 Motor Speedway, and with only a handful of points races left, the championship battles are clearing up a little more. Ryan King started the night off winning in Crate Late Model. Marvin Ray claimed the win in Classic, Mike Lewis padded his points lead in Topless. In Street Stock, Dale Watson showed the field how it’s done by claiming the win. In Mod Street/Super Truck, it was Cory Cate who claimed the win, after proving himself legal to Robbie Comer, who was found to be illegal. Tim Ladd was back to his winning ways by claiming the win in Mod-Mini, while David Singleton singled the field out with a win. In Limited Lates, Rusty Ballenger cruised to victory — until 2 laps to go when Jason Cardwell negotiated lapped traffic better and stole the win. Cody Courtney returned to Victory Lane in Mini-Lates.

Coming up this Saturday is the Hardee’s Topless Modified Shootout! $500 will be on the line for those drivers in their 25 lap feature. They’ll get qualifying for a $50 fast qualifier bonus, courtesy of TennesseeRacer.com! Gates open at the normal time, and prices are their normal prices! Knox County Residents!! Courtney’s chance to win ‘aired out’; JD Rector victorious in TNT

Our final mid-week race is now in the books, and it was a great night of racing! Pierce McCarter took the checkers in Crate Late Model, while Rocky McNabb added another win to his total. JD Rector from the Crossville area made the trek out to 411, picking up another win to his outstanding career total, while Rusty Ballenger notched another win for the season.

Coming up on Saturday night is a regular racing program! All Blount County residents will get in the grandstands for only $5 with proof of residency! How cool is that?! So head on out to “Tennessee’s Action Track” this Saturday night for another great night of racing excitement!

Pierce McCarter gets second W; Marvin Ray gets first

Another (half) Saturday night is in the books. Unfortunately for 4 divisions, the night was cut short. Those drivers will vie for extra money on Saturday night! Congrats to the winners who did get to race, Cody Courtney in Mini-Late Model, Pierce McCarter in Crate Late Model, Marvin Ray in Classic (first of the season), Mike Lewis in Topless Modified, and last but not least, Bradly Lewelling in Street Stock.

Henry outduels Ballenger in LLM; Carter gets first in MM

Another great Saturday night of racing is in the books, and the fans were treated to spectacular racing all night long. In Crate Late Model action, Jason Cardwell set fast time and cruised to the win. In Classics, Jay Eubanks set fast time, but Drew Kennedy claimed the Hardee’s Classic Shootout win. David Day survived both the heat race and the feature without mechanical troubles, claiming his first win in Topless Modified. Dale Watson claimed the win in Street Stock, while Robbie Comer won his 13th consecutive race. In Mod-Mini, Chuck McMahan was the first to cross the line, but was the first and only to be DQed, as he was light on the scales, handing the win over to Jason Carter, while Dalton King cruised to another win in Mini-Stock. Josh Henry out-dueled Rusty Ballenger as both drivers raced tooth-and-nail to the win, with both drivers racing the final 9 laps side-by-side.

Next up on the schedule is “The Great Tennessee Valley Rubber Duck Race Night”! Be sure to come out to the speedway for another great night of exciting racing action! We’ll get started at our regular times and regular admission prices will apply.
