Official Results & Recap: August 7th, 2010

Green flag in the air, Lewis with the lead, Clifton looking inside off 2 with the white in the air, he won’t have enough, Lewis wins, 2nd is Clifton, and 3rd is Wayne James.

Green flag in the air with 6 laps to go. Stanton leads them into turn 1, Comer follows suit, he’ll fall in line off 2. Comer still trying to run down Stanton, Stanton has a broken left-front tie-rod, and caution flies here on lap 15 as Cate spins.

Green flag back in the air, Stanton trying to drag the front wheels, he’ll lead them into turn 1. Comer looks for the lead off turn 2, he’ll take the lead going into 3! Stanton slows off turn 2, and Ogle takes 2nd. Cate in 3rd, and Comer will sail off into the sunset here. Checkers in the air, Comer wins, Ogle 2nd, and Cate finishes up 3rd in his Super Truck debut!

Green flag back in the air, Cook looking inside off turn 2 but caution flies here once again, as someone jumped the start. Green flag in the air one more time. Mills leads them into turn 1, Shepard looking strong, he wants the lead, but he’ll drift high in turn 4, but caution flies one more time here on lap 1 as Bates gets some help from Jason Ogle, and Bates spins in turn 4. Green flag in the air again, Mills and Shepard lead them off turn 2, but Shepard is looking strong, he’ll stay glued to Mills, but we’ll be under caution again as McDaniel spins in turn 4.

Green flag in the air, but we’ll be under caution again as Jason Ogle tries to make the move on McCarter up high, they’ll make contact, and Ogle loses a bumper cover. Green flag in the air again, and we’re only on lap 2! Mills takes off with the lead, Shepard looks high again, and now Cook looks inside for the 2nd spot, but caution flies again as Jason Ogle can’t get pulled into the infield as his machine stalled.

Green flag in the air again, Mills leads, Shepard up high, Cook looks on his inside, Cook takes a look for the lead in turn 1, nothing doing though, and Cook still looking for the 2nd spot, as Mills starts pulling away, but caution flies here on lap 4 for debris in turn 1.

Green flag in the air again, Mills leads them off turn 2, Shepard looking to make a run, he’ll look outside, Cook on his inside, Cook now wants the lead, he’ll get to the bumper of Mills off turn 2, but that’s all he can do. He’ll take over sole possession of the 2nd spot, he’s starting to show smoke, Mills getting tight, McDaniel gets sideways off turn 2 and about hits Ogle’s car that’s sitting waiting for a tow hook. McDaniel’s car is bouncing, but we have a battle for the lead, Cook on the inside, he’ll steal the lead on lap 8! Mills in 2nd, Shepard in 3rd as we get to lap 10. Shepard looking for 2nd as Cook starts showing a lot of smoke, he’s not losing fluid on the track so we‘ll stay green! Bates spins in turn 2, he’ll cut trough the infield, Cook in lapped traffic here on lap 13, he’s smoked up, he’s billowing smoke, but he’s still making it around the track around the track! Checkers here as time expires, Cook holds on to take the win, Shepard snatches 2nd on the last lap, and crossing the line in 3rd is Brad Mills! Following the feature, the top 4 cars were held for post-race inspection. Upon inspection, it was discovered that Brad Mills had heads that were not within the rules, therefore, Mills was disqualified.

Green flag back in air, Ogle still in command, but Kennedy wants the lead, Bobby Pressley looking for running room as well. Caution flies on lap 10 as Kennedy spins in turn 2. Ogle the leader but caution flies as Kennedy spins again in turn 2. Green flag in the air one more time. Ogle in the lead still, with Pressley in 2nd and Engel in 3rd. Engel running down Pressley, he’ll look inside off turn 4 on lap 12. Kennedy looking around Engel, and Engel gives Pressley to boot off turn 4, and caution flies here on lap 13.

Green flag in the air, 7 laps remain! Ogle the leader, and Kennedy back in 2nd, he’ll look to run down the leader, does he have anything for Ogle? Kennedy looking inside off turn 2 here on lap 15, he’s there, he’ll look inside off turn 4, Ogle powers away with the lead. Now Ogle slows a little off turn 2, Kennedy is still there, and now he’ll look inside in turn 3. 2 laps remain, if Kennedy is holding anything back, he better unleash it, as the white flag is in the air. Ogle hangs on, Kennedy in 2nd, and Blackford takes 3rd.

Green flag in the air with a little shorter field now. Ryan King leads them into turn 1, Chase King in 2nd, Anthony White wants the 3rd spot, he’ll leave Chase King in the dust, and White is charging hard, he’s hit the setup tonight, he wants 2nd, he’ll look for the lead as caution flies here on lap 5 as Andy Ogle slows to a stop in turn 3.

Green flag in the air, Ryan King wants his 2nd win, but White will challenge in this one, as he’ll look to take over 2nd, he’ll drift up in front of Terry, and he’ll cut Terry off on the exit of turn 2 and take over the 2nd spot here on lap 8. He’ll try to run down Ryan King for the lead. Chase King looking to challenge Terry for the 3rd spot, he’ll fall in line, as Freddy Romines looks for room around points leader Josh Collins, who has severe front-end damage to his machine from the lap 1 pileup. Ryan King still leads at lap 10, White 2nd, Terry 3rd, and Chase King 4th as we complete halfway. Anthony White closing the gap on Ryan King. Lap traffic will definitely play a role in this one before it’s said and done. Anthony trying so hard, as caution flies here as a rarity, Josh Collins spins in turn 4, and caution flies here on lap 16.

Green flag in the air one more time, can Ryan King hold off the seasoned veteran? Chase King powers off 4, and White powers off turn 2, he’s right there. He’ll power inside off turn 4, he’ll run into Ryan King a little, he’ll fall in line off turn 2, and caution flies here on lap 17 as Mack McCarter spins off turn 2.

Green flag in the air one more time. Ryan King holds off White off turn 2, but Frogg Ingle has hit the wall HARD in turn 1, and caution flies here again on lap 17. Ingle is definitely not a happy camper right now.

Green flag in the air one more time, Ryan King and Anthony White lead them off turn 4. White looks inside off turn 2, as Clyde Stanton loses a tire, he’ll pull into the infield off turn 2, we stay green. White powers inside of Ryan King, and it’s a battle of the crates here tonight. Ryan King still your leader, White sticking to his bumper, waiting for a mistake. Terry starting to close in on White just a little bit, as White continues to make a look for the lead, he’ll try to close in, off turn 2 on lap 23, he’ll close it up again, but can’t make the move. Ryan King moving his line up the track, he’s only got 5 laps remaining. Can he hold on for his 2nd win? Ryan King starting to pull away here with 3 laps remaining.
