Hangover Race at 411 Motor Speedway Shifts Back to Friday December 31
SEYMOUR, TN (December 28, 2021)—Officials with 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn. have revised the Hangover Race Schedule in hopes of beating the forecast for the weekend. The event will be condensed to a one-day show of Friday December 31 featuring 8 divisions of racing. There will be a practice on Thursday December 30.
Thursday’s Practice will be open at all classes from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Cost will be $20.00 in the pits. The stands will be free for practice.
Friday’s action will feature the Super Late Models racing for $5,000 to win, the Open Wheel Modifieds will race for $1,000 to win, the 604 Late Models will race for $1,500 to win, the 602 Late Models will race for $700 to win, the Classics will race for $500 to win, the Sportsman will race for $700 to win, the FWD (VVT/VTEC rules) will race for $500 to win while the FWD (411 rules) will race for $500 to win.

You can run in both classes but you will have to have two separate cars. That doesn’t mean you can change drivers and compete in both races. One car. One race.
604 Late Models will fall under 411 Motor Speedway rules. Also, 411 Motor Speedway would like to thank the Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series for trying to race but with weather coming both parties agreed it wouldn’t be fair to guys coming a long distance that we’re chasing points in this mini series and hurt the points racing. 411 Motor Speedway and the series hopes to try do another race with them sometime in 2022.
Friday’s times will be: pit Gates opening at 9:00 am, stands open at 11:00 am with drivers meeting 12:30 pm and hot laps to follow. Grandstand admission is $20.00 for adults, while children 12-under are $5.00 in the stands. Pit passes are $35.00 for adults while children 12-under are $5.00 in the pits.
Officials from the Valvoline Iron-Man Series/CT Promotions will officiate the Super Late Model portion of the weekend’s racing events and will run under their rules and procedures. There will be no entry fee. The Super Late Model tire rule will be as follows: Left Rear/Fronts-Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48; Right Rear-Hoosier 1350, Hoosier 1600 or American Racer 48 or American Racer 56; (NO 29.0 size tires on the left rear and there is NO droop rule). Transponders for timing/scoring purposes MUST be rented from the track and mounted on the left front.
The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series/CT Promotions will officiate the Open Wheel Modified portion of the program for the weekend and will be run under their rules and procedures. There will be no entry fee. The Open Wheel Modified tire rule will be as follows: Left Front, Right Front, and Left Rear- Hoosier M30S and American Racer Hard; Right Rear- Hoosier M30S, M60, Medium, and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. All tires may be siped anywhere on the car. No grooving of any tires. Transponders for timing/scoring purposes MUST be rented from the track and mounted on the right-rear.

All Camping is in the Pit Area. There will be NO CAMPING in the Grandstand Parking Area.
