Jesse Lowe Rallies To Another Crate Win, Powder Puff & Enduro Didn’t Dissapoint!

It was back to action at Tennessee’s Action Track with another action packed night of action.

The B-Hobby/Super Street class was on track first for a 20 lap feature event. Duke Lowe set fast time in qualifying but since he had won back to back races he had to start in the third position. Lamar Hughes would jump out with the early lead ahead of Josh Henry, Duke Lowe, Skylar Douglass and Brady Lee rounding out the top five on the start. The racing was intense as Lowe tried to get back to the top spot. He would tangle with the #01 of Hughes resulting in both drivers getting a cut tire. Both drivers would go off tack but only Lowe would return. The yellow flag wasn’t done showing it’s head as leader Skylar Douglass would spin his #14 on the restart collecting the #25 of Josh Henry. Henry would be able to continue on with just slight cosmetic damage. Lowe would rally back from the tail end of the field to pass Henry on lap 12 to pick up his third straight win.

Next up was the 20 lap Mini Stock feature. John Byers has won countless races at the 411 so it was a trip back to the future to see his #83 out front on the start ahead of Brad Hamilton, Tommy Newton and Dustin Stephens. It wouldn’t take Newton long to get his #T2 into the second spot behind Byers. The race would come to an early end for Hamilton as he made hard contact with the turn two wall ending his night. Byers would pull away in the final laps to pick up the win.

3: #12 Dustin Stephens
4: #38 Brad Hamilton

Next up was the Crate Late Model feature. Greg Martin picked up the win a few weeks ago and was having another strong night as he earned the pole for the feature. The green waved and Martin got the run off turn two ahead of Heath Alvey, Ross White, Pierce McCarter and Jesse Lowe. Alvey looked to be having some handling issues as he slipped back on the start. It would go from bad to worse for him as he tagged the turn two wall ending his night. Back under green and Lowe was on the move as he had already worked his way up into the top three. The battle of the night may have been between Ross White and Chip Brindle as they fought it out door to door for basically the entire second half of the race. In the final laps Lowe would run away from the pack and pick up win number 101.

A strong field of Open Wheel drivers were on hand to battle it out for the 20 lap feature. Jamie Mosley put his #89 on pole in qualifying. The green waved and trouble would find Mosley immediately as he almost looped his car around in the first turn. He would keep going but lost multiple positions. Brian Nantz would come out with lead ahead of Amos Bunch, Josh Hampton, Dustin Diden and Wayne James. Diden was set on go as he put the pressure on the Bunch for the runner up spot. Tyler James has been having some strong runs lately and tonight was no exception as he got himself up into the top five passing his father Wayne James. Nantz looked to be on his way to his first win at 411 but would go for a spin ending his night. With Nantz off track, that handed the lead over to Amos Bunch. The cautions weren’t over as Billy Palmer would go for a spin in turn four collecting Ricky Standridge. Palmer would pull off track and retire for the event. Josh Henry had a great run going as he would put himself into the top three by race end. Bunch would hold on out front to pick up the win.

The Classic feature would get off to a rough start for Mark Sise as the engine would let go on the start. After a cleanup it was back to racing with Will Carey showing the way. Shaun Sise has made a habit of passing the leader on the last lap but this time was coming to the front a little sooner. A spin by Hunter Graybeal would slow the pace in the first half. Sise would get the top spot and begin to pull away as Carey started to slip back through the pack as we moved into the later laps. Sise would score the victory.

Brad Cross has been dominant whenever he shows up at the 411 and tonight was no exception. He and Dustin Duncan had a great battle in the opening laps for the top spot. Cross would end up getting the lead ahead of Duncan, Bryan Williams, Kevin Sexton and track Champion Nathan Adams. Sexton would have an intense battle with Williams as the two swapped paint a couple times. The top two began to pull away as smoke began to trail the #93 of Adams. Duncan had caught the leader but would get tangled up with a slower lap car and make hard contact with the turn three wall. He’d be okay but was done for the night. Cross would pull away in the final laps to pick up another win.
