A great Thunder in the Smokies it was on Thursday night, with action all over the speedway property! But the real action took place on the track! In Mini Stock, David Singleton stalked Rocky McNabb almost the entire feature before he would lose power, and McNabb cruised to the checkers. In Thunder and Lightning, Robbie Comer took the early lead but couldn’t get away from Gary Blanken, as Blanken stalked him for the entire feature, but Comer was able to hang on to head to Ujunkdit.com Victory Lane. In Topless Modified, Mike Lewis blasted to the checkers, and in a dogfight in the Limited/Crate Late Model, we would witness a total of 6 lead changes among 3 drivers, as Limited Late Model points leader Josh Collins powered to the checkers.

Mini Stock
David Singleton and Rocky McNabb power off turn 4, green flag in the air! McNabb with the lead off 2, Singleton in 2nd, Steve Owens in 3rd. Anthony Singleton bumps Owens, Shane Taylor just behind those 2. Anthony Singleton pulls inside, steals the 3rd spot into 1. Owens battles back on the inside off 2, gets sideways, give Anthony Singleton sole 3rd position. McNabb the leader, David Singleton in 2nd. Keith Sands reeling Owens in now, peeks inside off 2, dives inside in 3, side by side off 4. Sands gets loose in 2, falls in line off 4 as McNabb tries to open some breathing room over David Singleton. Sands back inside Owens, steals the 4th spot off 4. Taylor now inside Owens, falls in line off 2 as 8 laps are complete. Sands now on the inside of Anthony off 2, McNabb leads with halfway complete. Owens now around off 4, caution flies here on lap 10.
First double file restart of the night upcoming, green flag in the air. McNabb powers into 1 and now David Singleton loses power off turn 2. Sands now in 2nd, Robert Burris up to 3rd. Checkers in the air, McNabb gets the win, Sands takes 2nd and 3rd goes to Burris.

Robbie Comer and Gary Blanken your front row, ready to get this show started, GREEN FLAG! Comer with the lead off 2, Blanken in 2nd, Travis Reno in 3rd, David Miley inside Warren McMahan, they race into turn 1. Miley gets loose into 1, he’ll fall in behind McMahan. Comer showing the way here early on as 2 laps are complete. Blanken in 2nd, Reno in 3rd, Miley gets sideways into 1, continues on. Now Reno with a bobble in 4, but McMahan is still a small distance away. Comer out front, Blanken setting a blistering pace now as he is reeling in Comer. Still 9 laps remain in this one and it’s bound to get interesting. Reno in 3rd, Blanken now runs up to the bumper of Comer into 1, but Comer is on a rail as his car is handling super smooth tonight, it’ll likely take a RARE mistake by Comer to relinquish the lead here in this one. Blanken again powers into turn 3, now 5 laps remain. Checkers in the air, Comer with the win, Blanken takes 2nd with Reno taking the 3rd spot.

Green flag in the air, Mike Lewis quickly out with the race lead, William Hux in 2nd, but now Patrick Evans spins in 2. Caution here on 1.
Green flag back in the air, Mike Lewis powers away, Hux in 2nd, Evans now in 3rd with Kevin Lewis rounding out the field. Hux hanging tough with Mike at this point, now Kevin Lewis dives inside Evans, and Evans will slow, and caution flies.
Green flag back in the air once again, Mike Lewis in the lead, Hux in 2nd, now Mike Lewis has a push in the middle of 1 and 2 but he’ll continue to show the way. Hux in 2nd. Hux has a fast ride tonight, but the handling has went away here late in the feature. Checkers in the air, Mike Lewis takes the win, William Hux in 2nd, Kevin Lewis in 3rd, and Patrick Evans rounds out the finishing order.

Ruben Mayfield and Greg Martin side by side into 1, Mayfield to the point off turn 2. Martin in 2nd, Rusty Ballenger looking down low on him, Josh Collins 3 wide off 2 with Ryan King and Josh Henry, Brad Hall just in front of them, now caution flies for debris here on lap 1.
Green flag back in the air, the Dixie Double File restart taking place, Mayfield powers into 1 with the lead, Martin in 2nd, Collins inside Ballenger, now Collins slides up into Hall, they all continue, but now Ballenger loses an engine off turn 2. Caution here on lap 2.
Green flag once again, Mayfield powers away with the race lead, Martin in 2nd but now we have a pileup in turn 1, 8 cars collected in this melee. Ryan King, Justin Summers, Jason Manley, Layne Clifton, Brad Seagle, Eric Tipton, Terry Poore, and Brandon Williams all involved.
Green flag back in the air, Mayfield lets the horses fly. Now Hall inside Collins but that’s all for naught as Jason Cardwell slows off turn 2, Mack McCarter and Seagle both collected. Still 2 laps on the board.
Green flag back in the air one more time, Mayfield again powers away with the lead, Collins in 2nd, Martin in 3rd, Hall closing in down low, but now Tony Schrimsher and McCarter tangle into 1.
Green flag one more time, Mayfield again with the power into turn 1, Collins up high, 3 wide off 2 as King pulls inside Hall, he’s down low on Collins, King sets his sights on Mayfield, powers inside off 4, King and Mayfield battle for the lead, KING to the lead! Mayfield drives down low, Collins powers around him, now Hall pulls outside Mayfield, Mayfield now with a loose right but up front, Collins outside King for the lead, powers into 1, give Collins the lead off 2. Hall in 3rd, Martin in 4th, Mayfield battling back, now Williams slows off 4, tough break for him after getting into the wall in 2. Up front, Collins and King hard at work as Henry has moved around Mayfield for the position. Tipton now inside Lowe for about the 7th spot. Tipton powers around Lowe off 2, sets his sights on Mayfield now. Collins up high, King looks inside, falls in line off 4, now King powers inside on Collins into 1, lap traffic will factor and King powers into turn 3 with a power slide, now lap traffic in his groove, Collins tries to battle back, but King powers away on the bottom, now 3 wide with Clifton, they’ll make contact, Collins turns left, he’s now inside King for a moment as Chase King makes slight contact with Collins, now King sets sail. 18 laps are complete in this one as King shows the way. Collins in 2nd, Hall shown in 3rd and now King makes a mistake, he’ll get up in the loose stuff, he’ll ride the wall, and he’ll exit the speedway here under this caution.
Green flag in the air once again, Hall and Martin glued to the rear bumper on Collins, now Manley and Summers make contact off 2, now Summers does 2 barrel rolls off turn 2.
Green flag back in the air, Collins mashes the loud pedal, powers into 1 with the lead, Hall in 2nd off 4, Martin looks inside, Henry in 3rd, now Brad Lowe slows off turn 2, caution flies once again.
Green flag back in the air, Collins again with the powers into 1, now Martin in the 2nd spot, but now Tipton around off the front bumper of Mayfield in turn 2.
Green flag back in the air, Collins again leads the field into 1, Martin in 2nd, Hall in 3rd, Henry in 4th, Heath Alvey looks outside on Henry, thinks better of it and falls in line. Collins out front, Martin in 2nd, Henry looking inside Hall , they almost touch, Hall now falls behind Alvey, McCarter goes around him. Now 5 laps remain, Collins well in command, Martin in 2nd, Henry in 3rd. Chris Wilson looks inside on McCarter off turn 2, Hall slows into turn 3, he’s into the infield here with 4 laps remaining. Wilson completes the pass over McCarter, now Poore and Clifton battle door to door off 4, but checkers are in the air, Collins picks up the win, Martin takes 2nd, Henry gets 3rd, Alvey 4th and 5th goes to Wilson.
