411 Motor Speedway hosts the NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series for the J.T. Kerr Memorial 40 on Saturday, June 4. The event will pay $4,000 to the winner.

Some of the region’s best crate late model drivers will be at 411 Motor Speedway. Series points leader and former 411 regular Cory Hedgecock leads the group heading into the race on Saturday. Scott Dedwylder, Chase Edge, Matt Henderson, defending series champion Ronnie Johnson, John Ownby, Brandon Williams, and Richie Stephens are just some of the drivers expected for the J.T. Kerr Memorial. Local favorites such as Ryan King, Jason Manley, Jimmy Elliott, and Heath Hindman could also be competing for the $4,000 first place money.

The NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series features time trials, heat races, last chance races (if necessary), and the 40-lap main event.

Also racing will be sportsman for $700 to win, street stocks for $500 to win, mini stocks for $350 to win, and classic cars.

Pit gates will open at 2:00 and grandstand gates will open at 4:00. The driver’s meeting is scheduled for 6:00, followed by hot laps, time trials, and racing action.

General admission tickets are $15 for adults, kids 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for adults, kids 12 and under are $15 with a signed release.
