Coming up on June 21st, we will host our first Kids Night of the season! In addition to all the kids under the age of 12 getting in free of charge with a paying adult, and in addition to the weekly candy toss we host, we also invite all our young fans to bring your running shoes or your bicycles! Bikes can be parked inside the gate by the souvenir booth behind the tower until it’s almost time for intermission. Listen for the announcement of all kids to your bikes, and then you can take your bikes down onto the frontstretch where we will have bike races. We’ll group kids by age, and training wheels are acceptable. We do have one rule for our bike races, if any child participates in the bike races, a helmet is required, so be sure to bring one. If not, we cannot allow the child to race due to insurance regulations. In addition to the bike races and candy toss, we’ll also have a nickel toss, and last but not least, we’ll be giving away bicycles!
If any driver or division would like to round up money to sponsor a bicycle, we’d love for you to do that! The Classic division last season rounded up SIX bikes!
