Seymour, TN – It was another thrilling night at the 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday May 31st, as we welcomed the stars and cars of the Limited Late Model division back in a special event! The night got kicked off with NeSmith Late Model Qualifying, where hometown hero Rusty Ballenger would take the fast time qualifier honors with his lap of 14.250.  Next on the speedway was the Limited Late Model division for their qualifying, where Ruben Mayfield set the quickest lap after laying down a 14.294. The fields were set through heat races, then it was time for the NeSmith Late Model and Limited Late Model Fast Car Dashes, which were won by Adam Beeler and Josh Collins, respectively. Features were next, where the first feature was Sportsman. Their race would be cut short due to time, where Wayne Rader was the winner after 10 laps. Next was Street Stock, where it, too would be cut short to 11 laps, with Bradly Lewelling holding off Brad Davis for the win. Next was Limited Late Model, where the field would put on one of the best races seen this season. There were 3 different leaders over the course of 25 laps, with the first caution flying late in the race. Despite several advances of Ruben Mayfield, Josh Collins, and Brad Lowe, the first car under the flagstand with the checkers was none other than Brad Lowe. Next up was Mini Stock, where Michael Courtney picked up his 8th win of the season.

Sportsman
Wayne Rader started his #01 machine on the front row. He’s been on a tear at 411 motor speedway this season, already racking up several wins. Tonight would prove much the same as he picked up another win. He had to hold off charged from Heath Alvey, Terry Poore amongst others but it was his night once again. Alvey closed on the back of Rader several times, even got along side a couple times but it wasn’t meant to be on this night.

Street Stock
18 cars took to the track for the Street Stock feature. A huge field of drivers all looking to make their way to victory lane. Brad Davis, fresh off a dominate win the night before at Tazewell speedway made the trip to Seymour looking to score another win. It wasn’t gonna be easy as 411 regular Bradly Lewelling was determined to defend his turf. Lewelling, Davis and Cook thrilled the crowd as they fought for the lead the entire feature. Davis got his nose beside Lewelling in the closing laps but time ran out on his attempt to score a second win in as many nights.

Limited Late Model
The Limited Late Models were up next and what a show they put on. Pole sitter Ruben Mayfield and Josh Collins stole the show as they battled and even traded paint in the opening laps. Neither driver would back down as they swapped the lead several times much to the delight of the crowd. Collins would eventually get the better of Mayfield as the 2012 Limited Late Model champion made the pass for the lead. The night wouldn’t get any easier for Collins as Brad Lowe made his way up to the second position and set his sights on the leader. The crowd was brought to their feet as Lowe dove his #16 machine hard into turn 3 taking the lead away and going on to score the victory.

Jacob Anderson put pressure on him every lap, even getting inside Martin several times. The two would battle for the lead throughout most of the feature putting on a great show for the fans.
