=========================================

Mini Stock
The first feature of the evening would be the Mini Stock division. Eighteen cars would sign in for this 20-lap feature, but only 14 were able to make it to the feature. The front row was supposed to see Nick Perry and Michael Courtney leading the field to green, but the bad luck bug bit Perry once again. This moved up Jeff Thatcher to the pole position. At the drop of the green flag, Courtney would take the lead off 2. The first caution would fly on lap 3 as Bryant Idles would go around in 2. At the drop of the green flag, it was Courtney again jumping to the lead, but the battle was on at that point. John Byers, who started tail-end-charlie in 14th, was quickly working his way through the field. By the time the 2nd and final caution flew on lap 13 for Lee Merritt’s spin in 4, Byers was knocking on the door for the top 3. Over the final 7 laps, Byers would move into the 2nd position, but Courtney was too far ahead as he goes 4-for-4 this season, and remains undefeated in points-paying racing. Byers was 2nd with Jason Gregory coming home 3rd.

Cautions: 2 (Laps 3, 13)
Leaders: 1 (41-Courtney, 1-20)
Time of Race: 14 minutes 14 seconds

Sportsman
Next up was the Sportsman division. The front row saw Kip Sawyer and James Cole bring the field to the green flag. However caution would quickly fly in turn 3 as Cole would go around after contact from Sawyer. This set up a complete restart, where the 2nd and final caution would fly on lap 1 over in turn 2 as things got tight among the top 3, with Sawyer going around off the front bumper of Cole. With a lap on the board and caution called on Cole, he’d drop to the rear of the field. Sawyer would jump out to the lead, but on lap 3, Wayne Rader with a power move would move from 3rd to 1st by lap 4. Sawyer would ride in the 2nd spot, losing ground to Rader, but then reeling him back in during the final 3 laps. However, Gina Allen would get sideways and collect Sawyer. Sawyer and Cole both slowed, thinking caution would fly, but it never did as Brandon Gardner and Terry Poore blasted by. Rader would pick up the win in the 10-car field with Gardner collecting his career-best finish in 2nd, and 3rd was Poore. 12 cars were signed in.

Cautions: 2 (Laps 0, 1)
Leaders: 2 (11-Sawyer 1-3; 01-Rader 4-20)
Time of Race: 9 minutes 38 seconds

Street Stock
The best race of the night took place in Street Stock, where the front row saw Shannon Emery and Dale Watson lead the field to the green. Emery would quickly move into the race lead off turn 2, but Watson would stalk him in 2nd. On lap 4, Watson would flex his muscle and steal the race lead. The first caution would fly on lap 6 as last year’s division champion David Price would go around in 2. The 2nd and final caution flew again on lap 6 as Bret Banks would go around in 3, possibly with some contact from Billy Sands. However, officials called the caution on Banks. This set up a 14-lap run to the checkered flag, where Watson would lead until lap 8 when Jerry Hux would pull out to the lead. He would check out to take the win over Watson, with Justin French picking up his career-best finish in 3rd. There were 11 cars signed in, with 10 cars starting the feature.

Cautions: 2 (Laps 6, 6)
Leaders: 3 (M2-Emery 1-4; 11-Watson 5-8; 01-Hux 9-20)
Time of Race: 10 minutes 17 seconds

Thunder & Lightning
It was a battle of the David’s in Thunder & Lightning, as David Kerr and David Miley would lead the field to the green flag in this very tame race. Over the caution-free 20-lap feature, David Miley would jump out to the lead quickly off 2 and never look back. Chase King made some noise and powered into the 2nd spot, chasing Miley down. But in the end, it was Miley taking the checkers over King, with Kerr fading to finish 3rd.

Cautions: None
Leaders: 1 (71-Miley 1-20)
Time of Race: 5 minutes 22 seconds

NeSmith Late Model
The front row consisted of Adam Beeler, who was the Fast Qualifier with his lap of 14.499. Joining him on his outside was Cory Hedgecock, who laid down a lap of 14.537. At the drop of the green flag, it was Hedgecock in unfamiliar territory has he was chasing the tire tracks of Beeler. Beeler, fresh off the win last weekend on Night 2 of the Ole Smoky Spring Nationals, would open his lead throughout this feature. Everyone sorted things out and it appeared as though it would be a caution-free race, until yellow waved on lap 16 as Jed Emert would stall in turn 4. Caution would again fly on lap 16 as Scotty Covington would spin in 2. This set up the final run to the checkers, as Adam Beeler slowly opened the gap up over Hedgecock over the final 14 laps. Beeler takes the win over Hedgecock, Pierce McCarter, Rusty Ballenger, and Ryan King.

Cautions: 2 (Laps 16, 16)
Leaders: 1 (66-Beeler 1-30)
Time of Race: 10 minutes 13 seconds
