A brief, but somewhat heavy, thundershower blanketed the 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday just in time for the drivers meeting. Track officials would call the cars onto the speedway to help run the track in at around 5:45p. After almost an hour, the track was sealed up just enough to begin hotlaps. Raymond Shepard gets loose off turn 4, Dale Watson closes in on him, but now off turn 2 Raymond Shepard pulls away slightly. Daniel Reese showing more smoke, as Travis Reno pulls away, but now he’ll get a boost by Jeremy Hershner, but he gathers it up. Bradly Lewelling closing in on Travis Reno now as Daniel Reese is all over the track trying to hang on to his machine. Something broke on that machine as he’s having a hard time. Travis Reno still in command, Bradly Lewelling now has faded a bit, with Raymond Shepard still in 3rd as lap traffic is making it hard on Travis Reno., but now Raymond Shepard loses fluid going into turn 1, now a small fire, but he’s ok.
