Crate Late Model
Clyde Stanton and Pierce McCarter lead the field to the green, there it is, Green flag in the air! Stanton with a great jump on the start, but Chris Ritchey goes around in turn 1, Freddy Romines around as well so we’ll get a complete restart.

Green flag in the air one more time, better start this time. Now Marty Calloway goes around, C. Ritchey and Romines involved again, complete restart coming up once more.

Green flag in the air one more time, and again, now Cory Hedgecock goes around in 2. With that, we’ll try again, this time, single file!

Green flag in the air! Clean start through 1 and 2. Stanton with the lead off 4, McCarter in 2nd, Calloway in 3rd, Trevor Sise in 4th with Hedgecock in 5th. Ricky Moore, C. Ritchey, Jason Ritchey, Romines, Dylan Lowe, Jason Varner, Scott Evans, and Justin Beeler round out the field. Stanton your leader, McCarter and Calloway the next 2. J. Ritchey looking inside on C. Ritchey for a moment, falls in line off 4. Stanton carrying the left-front off 4, as we see Beeler into the infield off 2. Stanton continuing to slowly check out from McCarter, now McCarter looks like he might be reeling in the race leader, but lapped traffic will be a factor soon. McCarter is within a car length of the lead off turn 4. 8 laps now on the board as McCarter closes rapidly on Stanton in turn 3. Now Stanton picking his way through lap traffic, now Lowe trying to give the leaders room as Calloway closes in on McCarter. McCarter loose off turn 4 as Calloway closes in, now Calloway makes contact with McCarter as Stanton checks out. McCarter gets around Lowe, Calloway follows suit along with Sise. Stanton your leader with 7 laps to go, he’s got a straightaway lead on McCarter. Calloway beginning to reel in McCarter once more. Now Evans gets sideways in turn 2, hangs onto it and we’ll stay green. Now Romines slows and stops at the start/finish line.

Green flag in the air. Now caution flies for a bad restart!

Time is now up, so it’ll be green/white/checker finish. Green flag in the air! Calloway peeks inside McCarter for a moment off 2. Now off 4, looks inside, falls in line as the white flag flies. Checkers in the air, Stanton with the win, McCarter 2nd, and Calloway 3rd.

Green flag in the air for the Classics, Robbie Sands and Adam Engel lead the way into turn 1. Engel and Sands side by side off turn 4, Engel will lead lap 1. Sands in 2nd, Bobby Pressley in 3rd with Philip Shockley coming up and Marvin Ray behind him. Now Ray on the inside of Shockley, falls off the bumper, as the lead duo are still side-by-side off 4. Now Sands into the race lead here with 5 laps down. Engel in 2nd, Pressley in 3rd about 10 car lengths behind. Cameron Skinner closing in on Charles Tharp for position as they try to close in on Ray. Now Skinner and Tharp make contact and the caution will fly.

Green flag back in the air, Sands picks up where he left off. Engel in 2nd, Pressley still riding 3rd. Shockley closing in on Pressley for a moment. Skinner closing in on Ray as they sail into turn 1. 11 laps are in the books, Sands your leader, Engel in 2nd, Pressley trying to hang onto 3rd as Shockley closes in. Skinner down low on Ray off 4. Now 15 laps are complete, Sands still showing the way over Engel and Pressley. Skinner though looking inside on Shockley off 4, give the spot to Skinner. Now he sets his sights on Pressley off turn 2. Sands still showing the way, Engel in 2nd, but the battle rages for 3rd. Skinner dives low in 3, give the 3rd spot to Skinner. White flag in the air, Sands about a half straightaway lead over Engel as Pressley makes contact with the turn 3 wall. Checkers in the air, Sands the winner, Engel in 2nd, and 3rd goes to Skinner!

Green flag in the air for the Topless, Mike Lewis dominating here already, in 4 laps he’s already opened a half straightaway lead. Meanwhile, battle for 2nd is on as Paul Johnson is closing in on Jerry Hux, and Dave Lewis closes in on Tyler James. Johnson on the inside of Hux off 4, falls back in line off 4. M. Lewis now closing in on D. Lewis and James to put a lap on them. Certainly not much going on in this one tonight, M. Lewis is stinking up the show! Johnson finally makes his move around Hux for the 2nd spot, but he’s got a long way to go if he wants to catch M. Lewis. Now D. Lewis and James are still side-by side, now D. Lewis has a bobble in 1, now Johnson closes in quickly on D. Lewis and he’ll go around in 3 here on lap 14.

Green flag back in the air, M. Lewis picks up where he left off, now Johnson has an issue, he’ll slow and pull into the infield on the frontstretch. M. Lewis your leader, Hux in 2nd, and 3rd is James. Now caution flies here on lap 17 for debris on the frontstretch.

Green flag in the air once more. M. Lewis again powers away with the lead, but now James goes around in turn 2 and caution flies again.

Green flag in the air, M. Lewis again with the jump. Checkers in the air, M. Lewis with the win, Hux in 2nd and 3rd goes to D. Lewis.

Dave Smith and Dale Watson your front row, ready to go, GREEN FLAG! Watson with the jump off turn 2, Smith in 2nd, Tracy Wolfe in 3rd, Apaches Quinton in 4th with Jason Long rounding out the top 5. Now Smith slows off turn 2, he’ll pull into the infield as well as R.J. Delfino. Watson is whipping the competition right now as Quinton is in the 2nd spot, Wolfe in 3rd, Long 4th and Junior Merriman 5th with Daniel Lawson rounding out the field. Now 10 laps are in the books, Watson your leader, Quinton in 2nd, Wolfe in 3rd with Long in 4th. Lawson now goes a lap down to the race leader as he’s trying to close in on Merriman. Now Watson by-passes Merriman as he continues to open up the race lead. Caution now flies here on lap 15 for debris in 4.

Green flag back in the air, Watson picking up where he left off, with Quinton in 2nd, Wolfe in 3rd with Long in 4th. Scoreboard looks like this: 11 15 11 15 — pretty cool, eh?

Strong field showing here tonight, they’re ready to go. Warren McMahan and Robbie Comer lead the field to the green, but Scott Johnson around in 4, Steve Hillard gets a piece of it. Complete restart coming

Green flag in the air, McMahan and Comer drag race into turn 1, Comer wins that as he powers to the lead off 4. McMahan in 2nd, Johnson in 3rd, now Rocky Ogle gets sideways, he’ll lose a couple spots down the backstretch. Brad Davis on the inside of Hillard for the spot into turn 1, that’ll be for 4th. Up front, McMahan isn’t losing a lot of ground to Comer just yet. Comer working the middle groove, McMahan down low. Now Tony Horton and Davis touch in 1, and now Davis powers into the 4th spot as he tries to track down Johnson for 3rd. Comer your race leader with 6 laps in the books. Now we see Horton slow and try to pull off the track, looks like he has a flat and can‘t fully make it off the speedway, so caution will fly.

Green flag in the air, Comer with the lead, now Hillard goes around in turn 4, caution flies once more.

Green flag in the air, Comer trying to pick up another win, but he’s got a mirror full of Tazewell’s finest in McMahan and Davis! Johnson looks inside Davis for a minute, now Davis looks outside McMahan but can’t make it stick. Comer the leader, McMahan in 2nd, Davis in 3rd, Johnson 4th and now we see Davis hard in the turn 2 wall, he’ll pull off the speedway with caution out for some debris.

Green flag back in the air, 10 down 10 to go. Comer the leader, McMahan in 2nd, Johnson 3rd, Ogle 4th with Robbie Buchanan in the 5th spot. Buchanan leans on Ogle slightly off 2. Ogle chasing down Johnson as they sail into 3, now Mitchell Childress around in turn 4 to bring out the caution again.

Green flag in the air one more time, but Huston and Childress get together in 1.

Let’s try it again, it’s been a caution filled night. G/W/C coming up as time expires on this feature. Comer in the lead, McMahan in 2nd, Johnson in 3rd. White flag flies. Comer in the lead now as we see Robbie Buchanan looking inside Ogle. Checkers fly, Comer wins, McMahan 2nd and Johnson in 3rd.

Tim Ladd and Chuck McMahan lead the field to the green. Ladd doesn’t get through 1 and 2 as well as McMahan, McMahan leads lap 1. With the start, he is the track champion. He’ll lead the field into turn 1 after leading the first lap but something broke on the right-front, he makes HARD contact with the turn 1 wall. He is ok and we‘ll go back to green shortly.

Green flag in the air once again, Ladd your leader, Rocky McNabb in 2nd, Joey Allen in 3rd, now Jeff Copeland showing smoke, cuts a tire down off turn 2, caution flies for debris here on lap 3.

Green flag back in the air, 3 down, 4 cars left. Ladd and McNabb lead the field, it’s still anybody’s race. Allen looks inside McNabb off 4 for the 2nd spot, now McNabb looks inside Ladd into turn 3. Ladd gets sideways, McNabb gets tight, so Ladd pulls away with the lead. Throw a blanket over the top 3. Ladd showing the way, McNabb in 2nd, Allen in 3rd, still nose-to-tail. Off turn 2, McNabb pulls inside for the lead, off turn 4 can’t make it stick. 3 wide for the lead!! Allen leans on McNabb, now McNabb slows off turn 2, tough break for McNabb. Allen with the lead, Ladd in 2nd and Brian Dinkins in 3rd. Checkers in the air, Allen with the win, Ladd with 2nd and 3rd goes to Dinkins.

Shawn Henry and Tommy Metler lead the field out of 4, green flag in the air. Jeff Thatcher can’t get going, now Jason King and Keith Sands make contact in turn 2. Henry and Metler side by side for the lead off 4, give the lead to Metler. Eddie Beacon in the #4 car tonight. Now Robert Burris gives the boot to Debbie Singleton in turn 3, King goes around and caution will fly. King is deemed the caution car.

Green flag in the air. Metler with the lead, Henry in 2nd, now De. Singleton goes around in 1, King also, Sands as well.

Green flag in the air, still only 2 laps are on the board. Metler in the lead, Henry down low off turn 4. Henry now slides up and leans on Metler, takes a piece of Metler’s car with him and caution flies for other debris. Track officials will not touch it, so Henry is sent to the pit area to get service after trying to rub the wall numerous laps under caution to remove it.

Green flag in the air. Time has expired on this feature, so we’ll do a green/white/checker. Checkers in the air, Metler with the win, Burgess in 2nd, David Singleton in 3rd. Crazy feature, only 6 laps completed.

30 laps, $1,000 to win, heart pounding, ground shaking Limited Late Model action coming your way, yellow’s gone and the GREEN IS ON! Josh Henry with the lead off turn 4, Brad Hall in 2nd, Brad Lowe in 3rd, Jason Cardwell in 4th and Pierce McCarter 5th. They’ll complete lap 2, Henry in the lead, Hall in 2nd, Lowe still in 3rd. McCarter spins in turn 4 and the caution will fly. 2 laps are in the books, super fast pace tonight for the Limited! We’ll tag him to the rear and go green shortly. Brandon Williams snuck into the top 5 before the caution.

Green flag in the air, Henry powers off 4. Hall in 2nd, Lowe in 3rd. Cardwell almost gets a piece of the wall off 4. Heath Alvey closing in on Williams. Now Alvey loses touch of Williams. Now we see Cardwell and Kevin Gentry go around in 3 and 2 respectfully, so caution is called on both.

Green flag in the air. Henry your leader, Hall in 2nd, Lowe in 3rd, Williams in 4th as Alvey closes in. 3 wide off 4 for a moment for that spot, now Williams trying to drive away from the hornets nest. Top 3 has checked out but Gentry spins in 4 and Tony Schrimsher in 2, caution called on Gentry.

Green flag in the air once more, Henry in the lead, Hall in 2nd, Lowe in 3rd, Williams still in 4th, as Schrimsher slides around Alvey for the spot. Alvey around in turn 4, caution once more.

Green flag in the air one more time, needing some green flag runs tonight! Henry in the lead, Hall in 2nd, Lowe in 3rd, Williams in 4th. Lowe looking inside Hall for the 2nd spot down low, can’t make it hook up off 4. Henry beginning to check out, now Lowe shows smoke and he’ll pull into the infield on the backstretch. Henry in the lead, Hall in 2nd, Williams now in 3rd with a mirror of Schrimsher. Schrimsher gets sideway off 4, hangs onto it. Now 15 laps in the books. Henry checking out on the field, as 3rd place is still up for grabs. Adam Beeler closing in on Schrimsher for the 4th spot, as Williams has pulled away. Henry has a slight push in turn 2, he’ll lose slight ground to Hall down the backstretch. Better through 1 and 2 this time, as he expands his lead. Now 9 laps remain. Henry about a quarter straightaway lead over Hall who is a straightaway ahead of Williams. Williams now feeling the pressure from behind as Schrimsher has again closed in. Now Trevor Sise has a flat left-rear, he pulls into the infield. 5 laps remain. Henry leading Hall and Williams as Beeler is closing in on Schrimsher. Now Cardwell pulls into the infield in 3. Checkers in the air, Henry with the win, Hall in 2nd, Williams hangs on for 3rd.
